Alphabet Box is a literary journal that accepts poetry and prose submissions.Alphabet Box is an international journal dedicated to featuring the best poetry, flash fiction, personal essays and short creative prose from emerging and seasoned writers. All voices are heard. Hate is not.

We award the Nin-Miller Prize, named in memory of Anaïs Nin and Henry Miller for their inspired, literary contributions and commitment to writing.

Our mission is to be free of advertising while awarding a minimum of $100 USD to our Featured Writer winners for their previously unpublished work. Beginning in 2025, there is a $4 administrative fee, payable through Duotope’s Duosuma.  Click here for the full guidelines and the link to submit.

Alphabet Box was launched in 2021, by publisher-editor Stephen FitzGerald. In the months to come, he’ll be recruiting a consulting board of “creative editors alongside visionary writers and readers.” Plans also include hardcopy publishing of our prize winners.

We’d like to thank The West Review for its unselfish assistance in helping make AB a reality.  If you would also like to help Alphabet Box
